How does the game fit the theme?
Every time you hold Shift to sprint, you gain speed but the countdown accelerates, turning movement into a constant risk–reward gamble. Play it safe and keep the timer steady, or “risk it” with bold bursts to reach the treasure-key before the clock devours your run.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Assets: Tilesets from Trevor Pupkin
– “Minimal Dungeon” and Incol Games
– “Dungeon Platformer Tile Set (Pixel Art)”, plus sound effects from Freesound.org (credited by username/track on the itch page).
Code: All gameplay code, scripts, and level logic were created during the jam; only the Godot engine and built-in tools were used.

I didn’t love jump not carrying sprint momentum, felt pretty odd. Like others the panning on reset was pretty annoying after a few deaths. If that had only happened once I definitely would have persevered more. Hitboxes on enemies seemed a little too big, same with spikes. Visually it’s a bit confusing to learn how to navigate the level with the tileset used in the way you did, but I think that’s intentional? I think the idea of sprint lowering your timer is interesting, possibly, but with how easy it is to just make a tiny misstep and die I never felt like sprinting would be advantageous (especially with it not carrying its momentum into the jump). I did manage to get the key and then a popup said to “take it to the exit” and never went away. I’m not sure where I’m supposed to go from there, back to the start? Is that what the camera movement is suggesting?
With just a few tweaks this could be really great, can definitely see a strong vision here :)
The pixel art and music are really good! They give the game a really cool atmosphere. The idea of speeding up time during races is also cool.
As a suggestion, it would be nice to remove the camera movement at the beginning, or at least make it happen only once. I ended up dying a few times until I got the hang of the game, but having to wait for it to move back and forth every time was a bit annoying, but nothing that ruined the game, to be clear.
Everything is very good.
Nice work with great visuals! I died a lot so the repeating camera loop in the intro got a bit annoying but overall great work!
Nice graphics and idea about the timer. I would prefer the first level to be smaller to first grasp the feeling of gambling with time before trying a larger adventure.
i liked the graphics, decent audio but the camera definitely needs work.
Very crisp graphics. Nice level design. Nice jumping mechanics. Enjoyed trying out this game. Very cute. Good potential. Great Job!
Nice game, my one real gripe is that you have to watch the intro camera sequence every time
Great visuals and level design! Loved showing the player how big the level is (even though you can still move and mess up the camera target location 😅)
Enjoyed this a lot with the tight platforming and having to avoid enemies!
The visuals and level design are nice - even if the level somehow makes it hard. I also had some issue with the moving camera in the beginning showing you the exit as the movements were strange (especially when already clicking on the keyboard controls).
Overall good idea and implementation.
This is a cool game, but the camera panning at the beginning was a little annoying.
The visuals in this game are absolutely gorgeous, and the whole dungeon really gives a strong sense of exploration. Unfortunately, it’s a bit too difficult.
Thank you, I aimed for a rage game actually haha, I hope u had a great time!
Interesting platformer, the only thing that should be changed is to turn off intro animation after die. This animation drives me crazy, I want to try another attempt as soon as possible after die, but the animation break the flow.
Overall good job!
Yeah I agree, I am aware of the camera thing as i only had only 4 days to build, Will fix the issues.
Oh god I died so many times and I still can't figure out how to win. FUN!
Hahaha Thanks for playing, there is a shortcut nearby you can take to reach the treasure.
Fun game! I really got into the game as a speedrunner hahahhaa I would remove the camera panning after the first time. But as far as that, good game!
Thanks for playing, I am aware of the camera thing, will work on a fix soon. Glad you you enjoyed it!
I think the idea and the graphics are very nice, although I have some issues with the camera. As others mentioned, every time you die (which happens a lot :P) the camera pans away and back, which becomes annoying quite fast. Maybe the camera should also be centered on the player and not have the player on the bottom left of the screen, since you can't see enemies or obstacles that are below or left of you (which might contribute to the "risky" theme, now that I think about it). There might also be some quirks in the AI of the green enemies, like getting stuck or moving in unpredictable ways.
But besides that, I think you made a decent game, good job!
Thanks for your feedback, mate. I had a hard time debugging why the cutscene keeps running, but I’ll try to fix it soon. As for the camera, I placed it that way on purpose to make things tougher—I’ll try different angles and see what I can come up with.
Visuals are clean and I like the idea that sprinting makes time run out faster. I super suck at it though, so I died a lot. My only issue is that the camera pans each time you restart the level. I wish you could skip the slow cutscene instead of sitting through it each time, it put me off trying to replay. Also you can move during this cutscene, which offsets the camera with it, so if you just start running around the final camera panned location will be somewhere completely off.
Thanks for the feedback, Sorry it felt punishing—I hear you. The camera pan on every restart + unskippable cutscene is on me. I’ve been wrestling with a bug where the cutscene keeps running; I’m going to add a skip, speed up/trim the pan, and lock movement during the cutscene so the camera doesn’t drift off. I originally placed the camera to make things a bit tougher, but I’ll try different angles to keep replays snappy. Really appreciate you playing and the honest notes!
Looks pretty!
Thanks, mate! Big shoutout to the artists—their pixel art is awesome. They did a great job. Check out their work:

Clever idea! I really enjoyed the fast-paced platforming, and the controls were well-tuned, making the gameplay feel smooth and responsive.
The art is nice and adds a lot of charm to the game. The platforming mechanics are solid, and I had fun navigating through the level.
One thing that did get a bit annoying was the camera panning over the entire level every time you restart.
Overall, great job! It’s a fun and engaging game.
Thanks a ton for playing—and for the kind words! Totally hear you on the camera panning every restart; that’s on me. I’m going to make the intro pan skippable and speed it up so you’re back in the action faster. Really appreciate the feedback—it helps me polish the next build!
I had to try this because it uses the same dungeon artwork as our game used :-)
But I suck at this, tried but couldn't get my timing right to get through the level!
Would have liked the intro to skip the panning after the first try, especially since you can move while that is playing.
Thanks for playing—and cool to see we used the same dungeon art! 😊 Totally get the timing struggle.
Pro tip: there’s a cheeky shortcut near the start you can exploit—try sprint-jumping along the side path to skip a chunk, haha. And you’re right about the intro pan: I’ll make it skippable after the first try and lock movement during it so the camera doesn’t drift. Really appreciate the feedback!
I tried to do it 4-5 times. The repeating camera pan is quite irritating but good job on finishing your game.
Thank you for the feedback. Yes, I am aware of tha camera cutscene im still debuggin the issue i ll fix it in the next build. Thank you
