Ranked from 37 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does the game fit the theme?
You deliver boxes of cookies to drop-off areas around the map. the more boxes you carry, the higher risk of repercussions you are facing.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I downloaded two music tracks from FreePD.com, the creator of which i have credited. i downloaded 1 sound effect (Car engine sounds) from pixabay.com. i have also helped myself with a 3 tutorials on youtube, but with that, i only helped myself write my own code with some guidelines. all videos are listed in my "about" section on main menu.

How many people worked on the game?

The game is really cool,The graphics are amazing,The ui looks good(the quit button trick is really cool),But the car control felt a bit off to me.

Overall good game

Great game! Loved the idea of being a cursed cookie delivery driver. Car control could be a little better, but it also plays into the idea of being a new delivery driver so I understand the way it is. Also the quit button dancing around at the main menu was a nice touch! :)

great overall look to the game and the environment. the handling of the car was a little hard to get used to but added to the whole idea of being a risky driver

Submitted(+1)

Hi! Fun game! Veryyyy risky - it is real easy to roll over in a car and lose everything + get a nasty curse (very devilish)

Liked logo, vibes and big ansamble of evil curses - you never know what bad thing will be next (my favorite was when I was blind while standing)

Developer(+1)

Ah yes, apex predator lol. I love rage games, so making one that leans into that ganre was actualy almost my goal. Anyway, thank you for playing!

What a delightful surprise of a game! When I first started playing, I was focused solely on moving my car as fast as possible, but this approach taught me the hard lesson that haste makes waste. The little curses are also quite cleverly designed. I feel like with more time to polish it, this could become a really fun racing-style roguelike.

Developer

Thank you! And yes, that is indeed a good strategy. Even though a car can go quite fast, that is not always the best idea lol. I am glad you had fun playing it!

man your game is so underrated. i wish it would be much more popular bacause its really well done

Developer

It makes me very happy to hear that! Thank you!

Submitted(+1)

Funny but Something popped up on screen and said i get 10 percent less

Developer

Yea, thats a curse. You get punnished for failing deliveries :)

Submitted

How do you get it off the screen though?

Developer

well it SHOULD disappear on its own. although it might have been some unknown error that froze it in place. sorry about that. in that case, restarting the game is the only fix :/

Submitted

Ok that's fine thank you

The driving feels a little bit strange, but the list of punishments is hilarious. This is the perfect kind of game to bring out and play together when friends are over. I'll be keeping this jam game, hoping I'll get to use it for a real occasion one day, lol.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback! just know, the game can get funky when the quota approaches 20 or 30k. though, i might release a new version with more patches, better driving and of course, more curses. we will see

Submitted(+1)

omg i had so much curse on me, really risking it for the biscuits delivery. little did i know it was a rougelike but for the curse XD keep up the good work!

Submitted(+1)

so much time playing this, felt like taxi driver with the new quota genre games. awesome

Submitted(+1)

Someone needs to say to the driver there's some room in the back! Look at all these wasted cookies 😭.

Developer(+1)

oh... well uh no cus... uh... you see... computer stuff... for the radar... in the back... and things like that... trust me :)

Man this was way more fun than I expected 😅 the car controls had me both laughing and raging, in the best way possible. The penalties were hilarious (seriously, "can’t turn right" broke me lol), and the world felt surprisingly alive for a jam game. Super impressed with how polished it ran too — even on my crusty laptop it was smooth. Definitely one of my fav entries so far, amazing work!

man this is such a fun game :DD cant believe only one person worked on it.

also i really wanna say i appreciate you for the fact that the game ran extremly well on my potato pc :D

my car barley moved. go both extremy slow speed and slow acceleration XD.

i just wanna say i wasn't payin attention during tutorial and missed the part where you actually start the game, so i was out here tryna figure out whats happening while you were journaling and yelling at me 10/10 really enjoyed it plus the lessons you gave :)

Developer

OH you were THAT far into the tutorial huh XD. thank you for playing. i have made an LOD system specifically for potato pcs in mind, so i am glad it paid off

(+1)

yep, i would have stayed much longer but wanted to play the game, also thank you for what you did :D

Submitted(+1)

Damn, the game's incredibly polished! Super fun entry! > v<

// My car won't stop rolling tho XD

Developer(+1)

Slowing down on the turns is generally a good idea, but yeah that van is responsible for at least 40% of all world's fury rn with how tricky it is to use lol.

this game is so annoying but in a good way, THOSE BOXES WONT STAY ON!!! super fun game very polished great job keep up the good work😃👍

Really fun to play!

I enjoyed this more than i thought i would! Physics based traversal games are fun, and the random effects were enjoyable, i only wish i saw some upgrades too!

Developer

i had the idea of one curse turning into a blessing once you reach the quota (So give you the opposite, good effect) but turns out 1 week is not a long time. Glad you liked it though

Submitted

Fun concept! Maybe the car could be righted in place with a button when it flips over.

Developer(+1)

you have an option to flip over the car by pressing T (while in tutorial). in the main game, holding R for 2 seconds initiates towing service which also picks you up

Submitted(+1)

What do you mean 1 person worked on this??? How did you manage to cram so much! The car controls themselves would be a lot, but to that you have a literal city, destructible environment (and people, lmao), day and night cycle, AI for other cars and people, a whole set of curses (and they even are more creative than i expected, like the one that basically makes you drive backwards). And you know, the whole delivering packages and balancing them mechanic.

I wouldn't be able to even make the assets for this in 7 days! This was extremely impressive.

I usually put at least one criticism at the end but I don't know what to say. I guess there's one balancing issue - driving with 2 boxes is a piece of cake and driving with 3 is so easy to mess up. The difficulty jump could be a little bit smoother.

Developer

thank you for the feedback! the truth is if you plan every single step, you can accomplish way more than without any planning. I am glad you like the game. but yea the balancing is a bit of an "oof" :P. oh well, maybe we were only risking our sanity all along.

Developer

ALTHOUGH if you know what you are doing, you can carry up to 6-7 boxes no problem. but requires some skill to set up

Submitted

yeah, it could just be a skill issue on my part :)

Developer

no no no no  im not saying that lol. Its just braking with the right force so the box tower falls flat onto the roof. saves a lot of space
