Theme interpretation
We were going for waves of nostalgia more than anything. That 8-bit arcade feel with a fun and interesting environment. The rooms are also endless past the tutorial. Endless waves of rooms and enemies to explore to your hearts content.

Neet game, I like the way you mix the flat 2d with the 3d world. It'd be cool if there was a bit more feedback on attacks. I wasn't sure if I was landing blows on the wizard guy.
I dig the 2.5D artstyle. nice lighting cute animal enemies.
Very cool game!
I like the atmosphere with retro vibes, the music also helps with that feeling. The gameplay is nice, though it was not so fluid sometimes but possibly because I'm on the web version on a macbook.
Also sometimes the text is hidden by the decor which is a bit strange when it's the tutorial about how to leave the room.
But very good experience playing, I love the art. Would love to see more of that!
Really like the vibe and art style in this game ! I am defiantly sold on this 8-bit arcade feel.
I experienced some frame drops here and there. Also, I managed to skip the first encounter room ,by clicking E one more time .That teleported me to the next room. Shooting is a bit tricky as well, would be nice to see the range with some visual indication.
All in all, great work, kudos to the team!
I like the artstyle a lot. The sounds were pretty good too!
The dialogue with Teeko is a bit lengthy. Cutting it in half might make for better pacing. Some character profile images would help a lot to know who is speaking - since the names are very unique and hard to remember otherwise (nothing wrong with that, just hard to keep track of who is who).
The visuals and the music are really quite nice. There are some large frame stutters here and there, which is totally understandable, but I think it is worth mentioning.
The hitbox of the main character's laser beam could be a bit more forgiving - it's quite hard to aim it at times.
The environment visuals are quite good, but the monotony of the enemies ruins it all. And I'd like to see the range of my attack more clearly.
