Very well made! this would be very nice as a mobile game!
I love the minimalistic art style. how you implemented crouching was also fun. Well done!
Pretty cool!
Pretty hard from the get-go, but it's understandable in the context of a game jam (had the same problem tbh).
I loved the music, and the overall aesthetic, great job !
I got stuck at level 0 when my character somehow disappeared after respawning. Also, and this is completely a nitpick, but I was frustrated to not be able to crouch until level 5, haha. Just for my own enjoyment of the animation alone, it's a nice pastime for the easier levels.
Obstacle Spawned on the spawn unfortunately, but was decent!
a bit unbalanced, lacks polish
often an obstacle appeared right in front of my nose when I just jumped over the arrow
sticky idea, I liked it
Nailed it ! Simple but well executed concept, artwork and audio simple but wonderful, and a pretty good enjoyment with a good difficulty scale !
I like the visuals and the audio of the game, but would have been nice to also use Space for jumping instead of just W.
The soundtrack is a bop, and I like the minimalist visuals! I wish that you could restart at the level you died at instead of having to start over from the beginning, because having to stop and click buttons broke my flow. (I was also bad at this and couldn’t get past level 7 lol.)
Because some of the levels require you to react almost instantly, an interesting idea could be to have the incoming level appear inside the circle, so you can see what’s coming up next.
Hi thanks! My intention was for someone to learn the levels eventually through trial and error but I can see why it can be infuriating haha.
No worries! Something I learned when testing our game is that, like, if you find something in your game mildly challenging, 25-50% of players are going to find it impossibly difficult (and in this case that player is me 😭)
Cool little game, I ran into just one issue, that being that spikes can sometimes spawn right in front of the player, giving them little time to dodge. Good job!
Hey thanks for playing! thats my bad, It might be because the game is relatively short so I may have consciously decided to make it hard, my bad
I liked the minimalist layout, and design, felt very relaxing visually. I think having different colors for crouching and jumping obstacles would have really helped as parsing which was which when they are both quite small was very hard. Great job!
Hi thanks! I agree, if I we're to make it again I definitely would make a larger difference between the jump and crouch obstacles, maybe not just color but their design
Good work, but sometimes too cruel timings, last jump, second jump and crouch. Minimalistic but good visual design.
Thanks for playing my game! It had become hard because I would play through the levels flawlessly and finish the game under a minute, whoch in hindsight, probably wouldn't be the case for everyone haha
