How does your game fit the theme?
As a rhythmic game, it uses music consisting of repeating variations - like a loop.

In making of the game I used FL Studio for creating the music.

Honestly I didn't go into this with very high expectations but when the music first came in it was actually insane how cool that was to me. Despite that, as someone who plays a LOT of rhythm games at relatively high levels, I found this pretty difficult. Great job!
Thank you! :D
The game design for the music complements is great especially with the rhythms.
I got 97% on Easy Mode.
Thank you! And good job on 97%!
The game felt pretty tough. I really enjoyed the aesthetic, and it was pretty addicting. Good work!
Thank you for playing!
22% on hard :D
I liked the jam! Quite interesting take good job!
Good job and thank you for playing!
Very cool game! The music is pleasant.
It would be nice to still see the progress and accuracy during the game, so that in quiet moments you can look there)
I will be very glad if you play our game too! :)
Thank you for playing!
Cool idea makes a fun game!
Please rate my game!
Thank you for playing!
I like the idea of the game a lot! And the music is pretty nice, but i think the notes should spawn a bit earlier, so that you have more time to react, and i think that notes that require different keys should be colored differently or have different shapes so that it's easier to tell them apart quicker. I got a 93% accuracy on the easy mode but the game is practically impossible on hard mode. Also i think the song dragged on just a bit too long but that's not a big issue.
Thank you for the feedback and playing! I really like you idea of having multi-coloured blobs, thanks!
What a great adaptation of the theme for a rhythm game!
However, it was a bit complicated to play on an AZERTY keyboard. I managed to score 86% in easy mode, but I didn't even dare try the other modes because my brain was getting so confused typing A instead of Q and Q instead of A ^^.
Anyway, great job, because it's a very well-made game!
I thought about other types of keyboards and that's why I didn't add more keys, because I thought that QWE and ASD are on every keyboard the same. I didn't even know that AZERTY exists :D. Well now I know. Thank you playing and feedback!
DEAM that was hard, I'm really bad with this types of games but I really enjoyed it!
I liked the fact that each key had its own sound, by the end I knew if I pressed the key wrong based on the sound.
Good job!!
(As a fellow thing goes in a path shaped like a ∞ dev, did you make it with splines?)
Yes, splines were the only consistent thing I could find. I tried placing game objects in this shape and following them, but I didn't manage to place them accurately. With splines I could even set the time it took for one loop which was very useful. And thank you for playing!
Very cool. I toyed with the idea of making a rhythm game for this jam too and I'm glad to see that someone tackled it! I did find it quite tricky but I think that says more about me haha
Thank you! :D
I managed to get 78% on easy mode! It really felt like I was playing the song, which felt super satisfying! Although, I wish the keys showed up earlier or faded in - so I had more of a chance to notice them in time (which especially becomes a problem on hard mode!)
Thank you for feedback and playing! I'm glad that I achieved the feeling of playing.
Nice little rhythm game! Very satisfying to nail the timings :) Although I could have used a very easy mode hehe
Thank you for playing :D
Such a fun game! The music and visuals were great! Nothing to critic, just a very good game!
Thank you!!
Hello fellow blob game. I really like this one. My favorite addition is that you repeated some hard patterns over and over again which game me time to get used to it. This would be ever better with more effects, but the music and note particles alone are already good. Got 92% :)
Good job and thank you for playing!
So simple and yet so good. When I first played it I was like "Would be fun if it made music" and then omg there goes the music ! Thanks for the experience, pretty hard to play with the keyboard but should be perfect with a controller :)
Good idea and thank you for playing!
Simple but really fun! I'm bad at it but it's fun. The song does go on for quite long though.
Thank you for playing!
Simple concept executed well! Very addictive, though I fell apart when more than a few keys got involved.
Thank you for playing!
Very fun, once you get the hang of it -- I like how you can get to a "flow" state once the songs become more complex, and that's no easy feat to achieve.
I agree with Quy's idea of increasing the lead time, even on easy while I got 86% (585/676), some sections had unpredictable keys that I could probably only get right by memorizing them.
Some more polishing and variations could make this a full, standalone game (eg even smoother note detection, some kind of fail state, maybe penalties for hitting wrong keys and visual cues too, variety in "maps"?). It's a great concept that can be expanded upon.
Thank you for playing and feedback!
That was an experience, the song and melody were enjoyable on all difficulties (only played easy and hard). Later on it gets pretty hard to read with the more complex patterns, I think maybe you can increase the lead time that shows the notes on some of the higher difficulties (or allow the player to decide the lead time with a slider). Otherwise that was a really satisfying experience.
Thank you for the feedback!
Great sound design. Shame im bad at rhythm games
Thanks!
