How does your game fit the theme?
You play as an artist who has an idea started. The idea in the form of a light bulb travels it's way to the canvas. It's the artist's role to protect it from the enemies which are a representation of artblock or doubts, etc.

the theming and art style is cool. would have been nice if there was sound. I didn't like the bit with the moving up and down platforms but still decently fun overall
Nice platformer game, good art style and animations too! The last level was a difficult one but I enjoyed the experience with this game!
Very cute game! I wish there was sounds though.
The mechanic of essentially a countdown timer is fine, but I feel like it's a bit too punishing when you make a mistake and has to restart the whole level.
Great concept! It might be even better with a few additional mechanics.
f you don't mind, could you rate mine as well?
This idea is amazing! The animations were good and the levels were challenging. Great work.
really good entry, specially loved the sprite work
Your pixel art is very solid, and the concept is pretty cool! The only things are I felt it was a little bit on the punishing side, with dying in a single hit in addition to the lightbulb being an alternate lose condition. Additionally, the movement felt a little… Off? I don’t play a ton of platformers, so it’s hard to say why exactly (plus I’m not used to using the arrow keys) but I’d say it’s a combination of particularly harsh gravity and a lack of coyote time that makes it particularly difficult. Also, being able to hold the fire button instead of spamming it would’ve been nice, but needing to spam it gives the game a more frantic feel, which might’ve been the idea.
Fun idea, and well implemented. The controls felt nice, although it said it could be controlled with WASD but couldn't? And I also think the enemies' hitboxes were maybe slightly too big, but otherwise I liked it. I wouldn't have minded if the lightbulb moved straight towards the canvas, even when the player needs to double back to go up and around - it would have added to the tension in a good way I think. But all in all nice entry!
great artstyle and concept
The pixel art is cute and the game's concept is a good interpretation of the theme!
i love the pixel art artstyle, it's adorable! the gameplay's short, but feels really fun and the light bulb escorting idea is really creative! good job!
I agree with the other comment—a coyote time mechanic would really elevate this idea and make the platforming feel smoother.
Also, here are some fun concepts you could explore if you keep working on the game:
Incorporate the eraser more—maybe as a tool to delete hazards or clear parts of the level.
Give the pencil extra powers, like drawing walls to trap enemies or creating new paths for the lightbulb.
Overall, this is a really good game and I love the little character!
Cool lightbulb idea and nice art! Would be great with more levels in the future and some more platform QOL, keep up the nice work!
i completed all levels. it felt amazing so far; art, concept and gameplay were great. good job!!
one tip: i suggest to put a coyote timer
Thank you!
awesome job! i loved this one
Thanks!
that was fun game, i liked the art and concept too
Thank you!
The concept and the art were really good! Managing the bulb while trying to not die was really interesting. Last level was really tough though.
Earthworm Jim levels of frustration (not a bad thing). Cool concept
I love the light bulb idea! And the art is cool too; it reminds me of EarthBound
