what is the Deep Jam ? Well...........

Deep Jam is a game Jam about games that look simple on the shell but have deep story telling. 

What does that mean? Well here is a more detailed explanation :

● the theme and it's rules

Deep Jam has a theme that may not have been showed much attention to before.

Games submitted on this Jam should have :

1- simple game mechanics 

Your game should have simple game mechanics such as walking , collecting objects , talking to npc's and many more things. But the game should avoid using too advanced mechanics such as combat , stealth , or any mechanics that is not considered simple.

2- Deep story telling 

Your gake should have a strong story whether its a dark, emotional, or generally strong story.

Avoide submitting a game without a storyline. Even if your game is just about collecting items or doing tasks in a loop, try to add story and lore to the game.

3- Fun and enjoyable

make sure your game is fun and enjoyable 

4- Replayability 

your game should be replayable. meaning it should encourage players to play the game again   whether through multiple endings or just being fun enough that players would like to play again. 

And that's basically it for the theme and it's rules.

■ general rules 

1- respect other submitters 

2- No sexual or disrespectful submissions

3- No spam

4- No fake ratings and using fake accounts to rate for yourself. 

5- No use of ai in any way is allowed 

● prize?

This is my first ever game jam and I can't really afford a full prize but for the winner I'll still try to give something cool.

1- a shout out and review on their game submitted to the Jam and a game they made in the past that they can choose to also get a  shout out and review.

2- promotion of their games across social media and a custome trailer of their game will be made for them.
