This is fantastic! I'm very impressed with this puzzle game being so complete and engaging, and I had lots of fun!! It was a great feeling to figure out the 5 puzzles independently, and made me feel a little LOOPY saying things to myself "I need to carry the kitchen up there!". I was very proud to make it to the end! Excellent use of the two maps layered ontop of each other, as well as making me remember things from actually being in the room like the library. And much much appreciated for the small hints as well as the full walkthrough. Thanks for the very fun play!

Thank you!!

I'm positively LOOPY! The game is quite surprising, so many rooms! I was able to open many of them and did a pool puzzle, but then I stuck a little and started to getting LOOPY. Need some hints or maybe to look at the walkthrough :D

The vibes are perfect for this kind of game - everything feels mysterious and spooky, and like mindtwisty, also very nice work with sounds! Adds to the atmosphere!

I like the Blue prince atmosphere very much, but also it's much harder ! I wouldn't have found the bears puzzle, or the Fan without walkthrough. Good job though, for a jam game it's solid.

Developer(+1)

Harder than Blue Prince?? I'll take that as a compliment. Thank you.

Such a cool use of the theme, and a great game to boot!! Like many other people have said, I enjoyed the creepy atmosphere created by the sound design and the emptiness of each room. I'll admit that I had to look at the hints/walkthrough a few times, but I feel like if I had more time, this would TOTALLY be the type of game to just sit down with, no internet, no hints, and just puzzle it out. Great work, and I hope you'll consider expanding this in the future!

Cool concept. Eventually I got stuck so I didn't actually manage to get to the end of it. Also the music was a nice touch to increase the eeriness

Developer(+1)

Hey thank you the walkthrough is up if you want to beat it!

This game manages to build a very creepy atmosphere through the music but also through this surprisingly well lit and empty mansion, something about it just gives me the creeps. The difficult and cryptic puzzle design helped build the gloomy, oppressive atmosphere! I really enjoyed it even if I was kinda stuck towards the end, the walkthrough was a nice addition so I could still experience the game even after being stuck! The puzzle design reminded me of P.T, this whole game has some creepypasta forbidden lost game copy vibe and I love it! Also very good use of the loop mechanic, very original!

Love the weird puzzles you could make with this mechanic! The hint helped me with indigo, but I had to look at the walkthrough for red. I liked the super creepy vibe.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing!

I'm surprised people find the red puzzle the hardest! But I knew indigo would be up there too.

Your game is actually good. I just didn't know what to say at the begining

Developer(+1)

I reviewed yours!

What a cool puzzle! Feels like I'm stumbling around a bit, but I think that adds to the vibe of exploring a loopy house. Well done :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you! If you still need help beating the game there's a walkthrough now https://itch.io/t/5181287/full-game-walkthrough

It took me quite a while to learn, and it's really challenging for me, but I had fun! It was a new experience for me.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

The walkthrough is up now if you're interested

Absolutely  my favorite so far of the jam!! It was tricky enough that I needed to use the guide for just a few things, but in hindsight, the solutions were easy to see if one is observant. Plus, it really adds to the overall experience of the game that the dev is so ready and willing to offer hints and a walkthrough as well! so that the game is fully accessible!

All that said... are there any further secrets in the very top left room? I'll try to keep this spoiler free, but at the end of the game, that room was immediately the first I thought of, given its theming and the certain "moveability" in that room. I couldn't figure anything out with it, but is there anything more to find in there?

Developer

Thank you very much.

I supplied hints and a walkthrough because the jam is short and people may give a different review if they got to see more of the game. I didn't expect anyone to beat the game in 4 days anyway!

You may discover the answer to your question in a sequel...

This game is very pretty and well made overall! I got stuck on the dark purplish light... But it was really fun to get there! And that was my skill issue lol I love the music and I never got tired of it! You know it's a good game when I don't mute it after 23.4 seconds of playing lol

Great work!

Also I'd appreciate feedback on my submission if you get a chance!

Developer

Thank you!!

I just posted a walkthrough if you want to finish the game.

Oh nice! I thought it said the 7th! I'll check it out!

Oh! The fan!!!!

Super creative, really good gimmick that doesn't get tiring. I got 5 lights turned on, a pity I didn't complete it, but I was just stuck and didn't made progress at some point. Congrats this is a really solid idea, and you got a knack for this kind of puzzles, I'm a bit jealous haha

Developer

Wow thanks!!

Which light color couldn't you turn on?  There's a hint section in the description and I'm posting a walkthrough tomorrow!

Submitted(+1)

I think it was the first and the one before the last. Will give it a chance another soon.

Submitted(+1)

This one reminded me of the back rooms lol. I feel like there were things I was supposed to do but couldn't quite figure out how to do, like the items like keys and candles I had no clue how to use. I liked it though! I did manage to get a diamond from the pool place

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you!!

I am posting a walkthrough tomorrow if you'd like to change your rating then.

Kind of confusing at the start, but i had a lot of fun!

If you don't mind, please consider rating my game as well :)

Very cool and fun game.. it was really fun to figure out how things work....at first i was really confused but then I found the map, then I understood. Overall, Amazing game

first I didn't know for a long time to press space to use that clock, and then I didn't really understand how I should use them. I only found out that I can walk through some most left most right most bottom doors I couldn't with the clock activated but I didn't really understand so kind of too lost.

I loved the music of the menu screen!!!! so cool. maybe built it in in the main game? would have made the game so much cooler in my opinion... (just not to loud in the background)

Developer

Thanks for playing!
You can't press space to use the watch until you receive the watch. And in the same cutscene you receive the watch the dialogue explains to use space to use it. Try pressing "R" to restart the day!

This was a lot of fun.  I was really engaged and wanted complete the whole game, even when I was feeling stuck.  I still haven't figured out red, even with the hint, but managed to get all the other colors.  I'm going to have to come back to it later to see if looking at it fresh will help.

Developer(+1)

Thank you!
If you do want to finish it there will be a walkthrough in a few days.

Submitted(+1)

I want to see if I can figure it out before watching the walkthrough, but I greatly appreciate the fact that you plan on releasing one so I can see the end of the story if I don't!

Developer(+1)

If you want another hint for red:

There are two red rooms on the map. Look closely in one of them!

Submitted(+1)

Thank you!  That was enough for me to figure it out.  This was a whole lot of fun.

Submitted(+1)

I played the game for a long while and managed to get 3 keys on my own and then from the guide I figured out the fan puzzle, but then I lost interest and couldn't figure out the bell puzzle for example so I stopped playing. First I was very confused and the game seemed bad but it  actually turned out to be quite clever. I feel many who play it though won't even make it as far as I did. The blue/white watch thing was first confusing and I don't know why it had to have an amount of charges. Quite expansive game for a jam though so well done!

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you! If you ever want to finish it I'm posting a walkthrough soon.

I consider the fan puzzle the hardest!
