Impressive for a four-day game jam! Managed to keep me hooked, I managed to beat it in my 4th loop thanks to that card that kills enemies with less than 33% health, maybe a bit overpowered.
I really liked the little animation when a card was played and the damage represented by a circle flying around, really made cards that deal multiple damage very satisfying to use! Well done!
That was a very fun game! I love card games and you managed to implement it very well. I can definitely see this game expanding in the future with more cards, areas, and bosses! I especially liked the shop and how we loop back to it to become stronger. Great game!
Incredible job. Well done all around.
That's a lot of work done in 4 days... Good job!
Very fun and has a ton of content for a 4 day jam. Little things like the final boss being quite easy and the game *almost* getting too grindy near the end are slight draw backs, but the game ended up having a lot more strategy and depth then I was expecting!
I really enjoyed the loop in this game, I enjoyed battling through the early rounds only to come back and absolutely mow them down with more powerful cards and better stats. The only thing I would say is that the animations are too long for something you do repeatedly, particularly enemy animations and entering a level. Also, I was frustrated that you have to wait until the end of the next turn to reshuffle your deck, perhaps it would be better to reshuffle it on the same turn you finish your deck, so you don't have to spend a whole turn doing nothing. Besides these, I really enjoyed your game, I found it compelling and engaging, and I played it for quite a while, though I unfortunately could not win. Good work!
I enjoyed the game, just thinking here that the theme "LOOP" has been poorly integrated (You loop over the same map over and over again, albeit with better cards / stats...) I don't know, wasn't too riveting for me...
I guess the enemy also loop in their attack...?
I just wish the implementation of the theme was smarter, I don't like playing yet another game requiring me to play the same thing over and over with slight changes.
The assets are pretty cool, like the music and the SFX, an the art is quite okay!
Overall a nice project, a bit original too!
Good work!
A nicely built deckbuilding roguelike with a compelling narrative hook! I really wanted to get to the next loop so I could feel that sense of getting stronger, I think it was achieved well in this game. My only real complaint is that it drags on a bit too long, I would've like half the amount of loops to win, but maybe that's just a skill issue lol. Great project, good job!
Very nicely done game! Congratulations.
I really enjoyed this loop, super addictive and really good execution. Nice storytelling too, congrats!
Fun little deck-builder, and the art style is cute!
We made one too (big fan of deck-builders) so I'm trying any that I can find. Good work!
I've been playing for an hour and can't stop.
Such a charming little deck builder I loved the music and character designs!
Cool idea! You know I love me a roguelike deckbuilder :)

This game is a BANGER! Best game I've played so far. This is a 5/5 in every category, except for originality (can't say you invented roguelike deckbuilders). The art is so cool, the music is way too good and the gameplay makes me go Balatro mode (I haven't played that game so I am just assuming that that's what it feels like). The narrative was surprisingly good, with the shopkeeper having different dialogue each time adding so much to the theme of being trapped in your own game.
Balance-wise, however... global() is just BROKEN. I beat the [SPOILER ALERT] engine before it could even attack because I drew my whole deck and kept blocking it and then once I had all the buff card (global and amp) I used to spams it and died.
Yeah, it's not super balanced :P but I guess that's also part of the fun haha
Wdym we totally invented deckbuilders
Yeah balancing is a little off especially for the bosses oops oh well
The card names are great, and the art is fun with its own unique feel. The music and sound effects work really well with what's happening on screen.
I had more trouble fighting the dinos than I did the actual firewall (or the engine)
Overall a really well made game and the music is a bop
I definitely did not spend the last 2 hours playing this...
