Woah this was so cool!!! I loved it! Rocky Mullet is becoming a professional voice actor for little video game characters haha

I'm guessing you got the thing saying that it's an unrecognized app and it might put your PC at risk? It does that whenever you download an EXE file that doesn't have a publisher (I'm pretty sure you have to pay to be verified or something). Here's a reddit post I found talking about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/itchio/comments/v3hjpd/microsoft_defender_smartscreen_p...
That warning doesn't mean it is malware. It could still be, but you could check that with an antivirus I think
It can't be accidental that there are 69 code bits T-T
Anyway, surprisingly cool game! I thought it was just a typical platformer that barely fits the theme but the looping platforms were very unique, fun and challenging.
Also why did it take me 15 minutes to find a syntax error lol
P.S. The music kept getting quieter the farther I got, I think that might be because you used an AudioStreamPlayer2D instead of an AudioStreamPlayer. The difference is that the 2D version is based on position, so if the camera is far from that node the audio gets quieter.
The concept was cool, however the game was EXTREEEEEMLY laggy. I think this might be because you're running the physics simulation simulation *every frame* to make the dotted lines to show the orbit. I'm not 100% sure that's why but that sounds like something that could happen because whenever I was pressing W the game wasn't laggy anymore (and the dots weren't showing either).
I'll give you a few hints before giving the solution so if you want you can still try for yourself.
I still haven't found everything, I only got to what I like to call "loop 2".
HINT 1:
To progress, you must find the 6-letter password and enter it in the place where you can type stuff (if it doesn't appear, just reload (button is in top-left corner) on the main page).

HINT 2:
There is some subtle anomaly spread across multiple texts.

---
SOLUTION:
If I remember correctly, there are four letters in the first text (Leaf Theater) and two letter in the third text (Campfire Cave) that are in italic and that are a little darker. These six letters spell the word "savior" which you can enter as a password in the little text field that appears when you press the reload button on the main page.
This game is a BANGER! Best game I've played so far. This is a 5/5 in every category, except for originality (can't say you invented roguelike deckbuilders). The art is so cool, the music is way too good and the gameplay makes me go Balatro mode (I haven't played that game so I am just assuming that that's what it feels like). The narrative was surprisingly good, with the shopkeeper having different dialogue each time adding so much to the theme of being trapped in your own game.
Balance-wise, however... global() is just BROKEN. I beat the [SPOILER ALERT] engine before it could even attack because I drew my whole deck and kept blocking it and then once I had all the buff card (global and amp) I used to spams it and died.
Yeah, it's not super balanced :P but I guess that's also part of the fun haha
I guess you already know how to change that but just in case you don't, you can go to your game's page (not the jam page, the game page https://devboyexe.itch.io/quiet-days), then go to "Embed options" and there you can change the viewport size

It would have been really nice if you could have made a web build, because when I try to download this, it says:

Password-protecting files or pages is a technique often used by scammers in an attempt to block virus and other security scans from detecting malware. Do not trust password-protected files unless you fully trust the uploader.

I'm guessing this is because you created your account not too long ago.
I see the game was made in Godot, and it's actually really simple to put a web build instead of a desktop build on itch. There are plenty of YouTube tutorials on this, you should check that out! (Of course you won't be able to update the game because the jam is over but it's really good to know, it gets many more people to play your game when it's directly on itch because it's safer and easier)
It's sorte of the opposite for me. When I left-click on the game window in the browser, the mouse disappears but I can't use the camera correctly: the sensitivity is HUGE (a pixel almost does a full turn) and I can't move the camera vertically. I might try again on my other PC, because the one I tried the game on has some issues with 3D games
