WHAT IS SETTING SUN?

In the Light of a Setting Sun is a rules-lite tabletop roleplaying game of wild west adventure and shenanigans. Originally a hack of Nate Treme's In the Light of a Ghost Star, Setting Sun has since grown into its own beast.

WHAT'S THIS JAM ABOUT?

For the whole month of January, this is your opportunity to contribute one or more unique rail cars to the Rose & Thorn, a train traveling across the frontier. Want to design a private car for an oil baron? A freight car full of ancient Egyptian artifacts? A band of hobos hiding out in an empty oil tanker? The sky's the limit!

WHAT ARE THE RULES?

• All rail cars must at least have exits at the front and the back, no cabooses or locomotives allowed!
• Before writing your rail car, roll 1d6. On a 1, there is something supernatural or unfounded about your rail car. Otherwise, the rail car is mundane (this doesn't mean boring!). 
• And, most importantly, be kind to yourself and others, and keep yourself and your work free of bigotry and hate. You can submit just one thing, or multiple things. You can (and should!) charge for your work, but you don't have to, either. It would be nice if you used the #OntheRailsJam hashtag to talk about it wherever you post about these sorts of things. It would be even nicer if you rated other people's submissions!
