Playing this game, I think my neighbors will genuinely hate me. But it was fun. The microphone mechanic always makes the game much more fun, and it works great here. The only thing missing is the sound effects in the game itself.
I made a video of your game. It's at the 3:28 mark of this video. Sorry for the lack of audio; my computer didn't record my microphone while I made the video. :(
I'm not sure if you want to hear me scream on my computer, though. :P
Thanks for making this! Our dev team loved it!
I think my neighbours will call the cops on me for screaming like an idiot.
Thanks for playing our game! We were initially thinking about making a game titled Noise Complaint where your goal was to scream loud enough to have your neighbors in game file a noise complaint, but we felt scaring children with noise fit the theme better. If you do end up getting an IRL noise complaint, we'd love to hear about it!
That was a nice and cute game! I loved how you implemented the microphone so that the player can scare the kids in the haunted house!
very very cute art, I got my boooo
I suggest lowering the scream threshold, couldn't get hit high enough no matter how hard I tried, cool game still!
Thanks for playing! The max scream threshold is definitely a bit high -- in order to cap out the meter your microphone needs to pick up +1 decibel of sound... so pretty damn loud. We had dreams of adding some sort of calibration menu, but we didn't have time before the deadline
Very sweet ! sadly I couldn't scream while testing so I couldn't get the intended experience.
