Are we ever going to learn about/meet Brad's previous owners, back from when he was a slave? Maybe after Dorgania is conquered, it could possibly include a moral choice to spare/imprison/execute them.
Another idea, maybe Lace could be convinced to train some soldiers. Play into her pride, she's a lot more skilled than a lot of the people under Ryen's command.
