i mod a dol fan server and they have a similar verification process because kids like to steal their parents identification and use it to join 18 plus spaces. the only difference is that our cutoff date is anyone born after 2000 instead of 1995 which imo is more lenient than the server i mod but i don't have authority to change it.

Wait, how are they supposed to even know if you're telling the truth then??? WTF. . I'm in quite a few R18 and a rare R25 discord channels. They have you take a selfie with your ID that's blurred on everything except your DOB.
I understand their channel their rules but some of these people are really on a power trip.
