Checkin out the Toxic Yuri submissions, this is the first one that caught my eye, and I played it through to the end, got 2 out of 3 endings (unsure how to get the third) and well, much like the commenter below me I'm also unsure as to how to properly describe how I feel about this... but I'll try!!
I'll admit right off the bat it's not really my cup of tea at all, story and content-wise, and the main character (Ana) consistently pissed me off </3, howeverrrrr I really liked the art, specifically the character sprites, as I thought they were very cute and had charm to them... Bumbles and Mika are cool (love the designs!), and deserve way better, poor girls...
When it comes to the writing, things seem to just happen in the world of this VN, and I feel like that's entirely on purpose. It felt absurdist and self-indulgent, a setting where rules get bent on a whim, which, once again, is fair for something that's very open about what it's going for, so I have to respect it!
Perhaps my "complaints" are unfounded since art is meant to comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable, but as someone that is admittedly on the disturbed side of things, I did not feel comforted, definitely not in the traditional sense LOL ;-; but still, certainly an intriguing piece and fairly well produced! ^_^
