Load the game, get a window saying "Loading Save Data" which is weird as I have never played it before... can open other menus, but the loading save data one is over the top making it unplayable.
refreshed a few times and it went away... then had to do a hard reset to actually play the game.
it sounds like some sort of error was thrown when you loaded in. Sadly I can't recreate this issue therefore I have no idea what broke.
