Thanks for playing! With alchemy at level 12 you should be able to talk to Emmy and understand the recipe, then gather the ingredients and try it out yourself.

The other things you mentioned aren't in the game, yet, but there's plenty more to come in future updates.

Read another comment and found out I needed to fight flame, use water bucket, and then talk to blacksmith for burns until I've used 10 of them. Didn't know of fire fight and water bucket. Should add further alchemy progression or burn crafting to clock as a means of alchemy, mana, and maybe gather leveling. Similarly, resistance leveling, and selection remembering; have accidently selected wrong option on multiple occasion
