As for the timer, your suggestion is very reasonable. It can cause unnecessary stress, and I completely agree that adding an unlimited time / planning mode would make the game more friendly to many players. If I have the opportunity to continue developing after Jam, I will prioritize that part!
Oh, and I also want to clarify a bit about the comment on your game the other day: I just wanted to share my game for fun, not to promote it too much or try to spam anything - just eager to show it off to everyone. If the way I did it made you or anyone else feel uncomfortable, I sincerely apologize, I will learn from my experience and behave more carefully next time.
