I used the arrow keys to change the rotation of the blocks. The thing I found confusing about the rotation is the curve blocks. I always had to go through all the options before finding the right one which was even more confusing when we take in account that there were two turn types. I think it would also be a good idea to display the block options somewhere, so the user does not have to remember where something was. Hope this helps! :D

Thanks for the feedback (again)!  I'll probably remove the WASD/arrows controls and put only clockwise/counter-clockwise rotation system. About the display, at first I was going to make UI for picking the roads but it would be too much work to make it during the game jam. I'll probably make some tutorial levels instead of the  book-like way it's now implemented.
I don't know if the further development interests you but I though you might like some information.
