Ran into a lot of issues. Was fine in first playthrough of the mission. Afterwards when I tried tutorials or the mission again there were constant bugs and crashes. Other than that, art and vfx look great. Weapons and parts look cool.

Bugs

  • Beat the mission as default mech. Then after changing parts, I alt-tabbed and the game crashed. 
  • Tried mission again and my melee weapon was missing, not sure if I unequipped it without realizing, then it crashed when I pressed left trigger. (using ps5 controller with ds4) 
  • Tried ranged combat tutorial and after completing it, controller doesn't work in menu and had to use mouse. Then it froze when I starting another tutorial. 
  • In movement tutorial it stopped completing during the afterburner mode.
  • Can't seem to pause game unless I do alt-tab. 
  • Afterburner mode switches sides constantly while fighting, making it difficult and annoying to use.
  • Crashed again while playing mission as the first mech rushed at me.
  • Sometimes when shooting foot soldiers with autocannon, they seemed to tumble along the ground, it looks funny.

Feedback

  • I wish the mission intro was skippable. 
  • Watching the intro, I'm not really sure what its trying to tell me. Some markers and things on screen pointing out what its talking about might help. The camera angles just seem to be viewing general areas so I'm not sure what to be looking at. 
  • Wish the hold start to save loadout was faster. 
  • NPCs talk a lot. Their audio is rather quiet and muffled too, so couldn't understand them most of the time. 
  • The mission is good for a first mission though not too exciting.
  • Its weird to me that the default resolution in settings is 3840x2160, I would think most people still have 1920x1080 monitors. 
  • Sometimes while flying I felt like a sitting duck because missiles were coming at me and I couldn't go down fast enough. 

Hi Gr8H8, thank you for taking time to give us feedback! A new demo is in the works and we are going to make sure it run really well this time!

As for feedback:
- We will add skip intro and cutscene to next demo

- The story will also make sense and give more context to situation since we are just making the actual game now. Demo you are playing was made to try and get publishing, we are just self publishing for now and will make higher quality :)

- I will balance sound better. This demo I use mostly terrible TV speakers because I have hearing damage and don't like to listen to things with headphones. Just going to suck it up this time and have headphones and properly balance sounds xD

- We are going to add more content in new demo, enemies, weapons, mecha types and parts. Stay tuned!

- Resolution was a sore spot, we will fix it. Many people have report issues with it and we will make sure it works well for new demo

-There is a new downward dodge feature currently added to address this
