This freaking rips!
I love the unabashed fun that this adventure site presents. So little background is given, but regardless, as you read the module it sort of builds out a world for you. It is really effective. It's very very modular in the sense that I could throw this, pretty much, into any sandbox campaign.
The pulp theming is definitely there as well. I'd probably have to put in some work to make this run at my table, however, I do understand that this is written for OD&D, a game I don't have the pleasure of running on a weekly basis, and one that really is built for these styles of adventures.
I really enjoyed reading this! It sparked my imagination and made me want to go run OD&D
