If I revert to 6 channels, multifruit won't work anymore. The blame is on Giants. They added support for 64 fruitTypes, but decided to stay on 32 on the base-game (probably for console, but I doubt it).
I thought that making it a 8 channels, would fix it, but no. (the idea for 8 channels came from looking inside Etruria coding)
It may be a way with a script, but I have no idea of a existing one and I have no knowledge how to make a script either...
Also it may be another fix, but also, I don't know one. So, if anyone knows a fix, please tell me.
