hmm okay so i saw the menu and immediately thought this was going to be a cool walking zombie rpg i was turned upside down when i realized it was a tower defense. Kinda hard to visually figure out what the top of those shelves were until midway playing i realized thats what they were. Speedup was 10000% needed for this game or like a way to send the next wave in faster. I think needing to click the gears to collect could have been auto'd but really a nonissue as i was just lazy lol. mechanically the game played pretty fluid and turrets worked no bugs etc. I think i wished there were more turret options as I pretty much always placed whatever I had the most for which min/maxed pretty easily.
I think this would have benefitted from the player sprite placing the turrets and taking time to build it and risk getting attacked by zombies to fit theme more on top of the 1 life.
I think for 6 people calls to question there had a feeling that there should be more done but it was a cleanly polished game.
Well done for what you all made on the short time. couldnt find any bug issues at all either so 10/10 for that.

Really appreciate that you also highlighted the positive points especially the polish. This was only our second game and our second jam, so that means a lot to us.
You’re absolutely right about having the player place turrets directly and risk getting attacked. That would have fit the theme way better, and in hindsight we’re wondering how we didn’t think of it.
We also know there are things still missing, like clearer feedback when zombies get slowed, more turret variety, and generally stronger feedback on some of the mechanics. Your comment really helps us see those priorities better.
Thanks again for taking the time to play and share such detailed thoughts! Comments like yours are super valuable for us to keep learning and improving.
