Really cool game, visuals are excelent. I just should warn to players: don't try to change to high graphics, when I did, my game got broken. Other than that, game is really solid, I'm saving the game to try again sometime, cause unfortunately I died many times before give up, I have a long list yet, so I'm trying again later, but I played enough to have an opinion. In my first atempts I died poisoned, cause I didn't understand well, but in Itch page you said that I should use "Defend" when the enemy is in lower instance, so after read that I could avoid being poisoned, is an interesting mechanic in a turn-based game, so we have an advice before a special attack, I think I would like if the game itself explained that and not only in the page. I liked how we can avoid the combat trying to learn the moves of the enemies, so I could, for example, to get the Armor without a fight with at least 3 rats that I avoided. The risky mechanic is also cool and fits the theme, I got some chandeliers in my head lol. The weapons are a cool progression, once my first weapon takes 4 hits to kill a rat, the second weapon takes only 3 hits. Btw, in the armor room, I saw a chest, there's a way to open that? Or it's only a decoration? To an update I would suggest to make them working, chests are cool and fits the vibes of your game. I couldn't fight the skeletons but I liked theirs visuals, I died many times against the wall lol, so... Congrats for your game, really enjoyable experience and I like the retro style.

Hi, Tech Artist here,
Thank you very much for such nice feedback!>
As you can tell we had some time issues and probably the biggest was Balance.
So no worries about dieing too much (every dev died like 300 times before beating wall).
If you revisit the game before the end of jam, feel free to use Spam of Attack Button bug, just to get an idea what content is in game!
About chests yes and yes, they were planned as loot storages, but Scope Creep was an issue haha.
I'm really glad you enjoyed our little experience:3
