I appreciate how straightforward the story is. I only managed to get 2 endings, but I think I got a feel for Aya's character from that. The story is purely what it sets out to be: a girl working up the courage to overcome her insecurities. And her design is cute; can't have too much pink.

My main criticism is the minigame portion. I knew the colors were flashing depending on the answer, but I couldn't make sense out of why x was green or why y was blue etc, nor did I figure out what color corresponded to what ending until getting said ending. I thought I was stuck in a loop for a minute. 😥 My strategy was to keep picking the same color as many times as I could find it, whatever that color was.

Part of me would've preferred a single choice (per random section) that went straight to the next part. 😅 Or maybe finite/linear choices that are added up at the end.

Kaito seems like a cool dude. I'm happy for Aya in the end. 😊

Thanks! The choices in the minigames didn’t correspond to the ending but rather the darker moments of the game. The last choice affects what ending you get, to which there are two. When you complete a minigame, you’ll see a word pop up with a particular color, which corresponds to the words the player was clicking on earlier.

I think I made the minigames too long, and it is confusing, since there is no context. It’s basically a vocabulary game, but there are no hidden points associated to them that will affect Aya’s grades or her relationship to her crush. It didn’t help that some of the words were too similar to one another, but I liked it for what it was, and that’s how I tried to raise the difficulty for the player so as to not make it too easy.

Thanks for playing! 🤩
