I tried to play a spade on a column with a club and a diamond, where the bottom card showed a spade, and it wouldn’t let me do it. Screencap is here. Did I misunderstand the rules?
In that case you can't place this card, because you wouldn't be able to place another heart below it. It only allows spade and diamond which are already present in the row.
