Also, idk how I' m doing this but every relationship I start ends up unsteady 😔 First D, then X, I fear R will be too when I start their route. I take this chance to ask, what should I do to stabilize my relationship with X? Do I need to be sterner with them or the opposite and let them distract me with their flirting?

Honestly, I did what came to mind first, and I always end up getting a steady relationship
if you want specifics, here are a few examples. (oh yeah, slight spoiler alert for anyone reading ig)
When X is leaving in CH.9, and you have a choice to let ‘em go or ask X if you’ll see them again, choosing to let X go leads onto the steady path
when X comes back from their lil’ trip and explains to the Crown their reasoning behind killing Pikachu (or whatever their name was) you can choose to either understand X’s reasons (which leads to the steady path) or stay mad (or smth)
Lastly, at the end of chapter 13, when X attempts to distract you with smooches, you’ve got (essentially) two choices; to give in or push through an’ ask about the dagger. Choosing to ask about the dagger keeps/brings ya on the steady path
