Or is it a bit like "comic book time" and is in a unspecified year(s)

Step One is in 2010, Step Two is 2014, and Step Three is 2018 (i think).

not to rant but i had an olnf future kids au of my mcs for fun and like .. i totally miscalculated their ages, thinking "their kid would be (age) in 2025!!" .. AND I MADE THEIR BIRTHDATE LIKE 2008 💔💔 my babies wouldve gave birth at 8 years old help 😭

To give official confirmation, the years are 2010 for Step 1, 2014 for Step 2, 2018 for Step 3, and 2022 for Step 4.
