But yeah, the thing is people complain a lot it’s not 100% proper so it’s fixed to be that then people complain it’s not slang enough for how English speakers speak or whatever.
Actually, when the game first was made, lucky had a gangster accent to fit in with his background of being from the mob but people complained it wasn’t proper English.
Anyway, it’s a tug and pull on this and at the end of the day characters all have their own personalities and how they talk reflects that. Like Prim and charlotte are supposed to be proper and formal how they talk, charlotte more so because of her high class background. Where Layla has a lot of science terminology in her vocabulary. Or Mary has very precise English because of her mother watching over her, or Yui speaking 3 words because of her abuse. And Celestine has more ghetto terminology.
Some things are intentional because of the characters or story/lore reasons, or it’s because of humor and a more simple way to read it.
