Spoilers

.

I loved the art and the music and the first three quarters of the story, but I felt kind of cheated at the ending. Swift crashes out at Osgood, the climax of the story, and then it feels like it just kind of ends. You never hear from Osgood or Blake again, which makes it seem like he's no longer friends with either of them even though Blake never did anything wrong, and surely you're at least close enough with Osgood to talk to him again after that even if the friendship doesn't work out, especially since what he said seemed to come from trying to look out for his friend rather than just being judgy. Everyone else in the comments seems to have liked the ending so am I just missing something??

I was a little surprised there was no check-in from Blake, but at the same time, I could believe there wouldn't be one, and that would speak volumes about the kind of person Blake is. Osgood... I know I would have a hard time wanting to talk to him after that. There's not a lot I would want to talk about if I was being seen in that reductive of a light by someone who is supposed to be my friend.

I think the ending makes sense. Cons can end abruptly and messily, and the jarring transition back to Real Life (tm) can feel just as rough as this. I don't like the ending but it is a good ending, I think?
