It seems you just changed the link text, instead of the link itself. Moreover, that font on GitHub seems to be a modified version of the font that doesn’t have some of the characters (uppercase L, R, U, D, X, and O: they’re replaced by the buttons).
In any event, this google drive link (from that original forum post), which should be the full font, still seems to work:
