4 months waiting to pay $35 dollars for new content? Your work is awesome, but I feel fooled...

(+1)(-5)

I understand your concern about the price of the game, and I also understand that many great games are cheaper or more polished. If you want to read our reasons, please continue. If not, we are sorry the price did not meet your expectations.

Explanation:
We know many games are cheaper and better in some aspects, but we decided this price on Itch.io because:

1 - Buying on Itch.io is a one-time purchase. You will always have access to the game and future updates without paying again, unless we increase the price later.
2 - Patreon supporters pay every month for each update. Even at a lower tier, after a few updates they end up paying more than on Itch.io, which would be unfair.
3 - Itch.io takes more than 35% in fees and taxes, and also holds the money for weeks. If you pay 35 now, we receive around 20, and only after one or two months.
4 - You can always get the game for free on pirate sites. Nobody is forced to pay. You can also donate any amount if you prefer, and that is fine too.

5 - This project is made with a lot of love and effort. Supporting it means supporting real people behind the screen, not a big studio. It helps us stay motivated and keep creating instead of abandoning the project.

Once again, feel free to support us if you want and feel like it. If you do not want to, or cannot, do what you need to do. We will not judge.

I expected a controlled free update, indeed having a better update for Patreon patrons or itch.io patrons to lure people to become patrons. My great issue here is because we waited for 4 months for a update, and the update is now paid. And it isn't just paid, it is 35 dollars, a price that compete with the best games here in itch.io. Your work is amazing, I say it again, but you are, using a Brazilian expression: "dando tiro no próprio pé", that means backfire yourselves here...
