I hate opened ends, so Owen find Andrew and ....thas all?? No way, so now Owen will give a chance to Andrew or finally will stay with Ollie. Thats unfair this story ends just in this last meet. I hope almost a last update, althouhg it has to wait so long time, but it a little sad and uncomplete story if ends so.
Can't say I was too thrilled about Ollie's ending overall
But uh, at least the route defaults to Marlo if you don't start from the beginning, and at least that's a much better ending overall
And also, there's no more further updates to this. This is how it ends. All we can do is hope the author continues on with spinoffs but I think he's currently working on something completely different, and much smaller titled "Sailor and Otter". Understandable considering this has been an insanely long project which went on for years now, and the author probably wishes to do something else and try experimenting before diving into another huge project
I don't think it'll be released to public soon but we'll see what that would be about.
It might be a spin-off, as you say, or a short alternate ending to Otter Tale. I also saw Marlo's ending, and while I appreciate that it was a closed ending, it still felt a bit bittersweet for Ollie. Ollie's character was one of those who suffered the most because of Owen, and both he and Andrew deserved a good, closed ending with Owen. That's why I think that at least in Ollie's route, they could have included a bit more of a branching path with two alternate endings: one where Owen chooses Ollie and another where he chooses Andrew. That way, I think this great project could be concluded, and many readers would be more than satisfied. Even if I had to wait two or three years, knowing that in the future we can see a final dream ending with Ollie and Andrew, I would be satisfied. I've grown very fond of the characters, especially them and Marlo. I also didn't like that things didn't work out between Marlo and Ollie, and that he still holds a grudge. It makes me really sad that we won't see more of this adorable trio of otters, especially since my fursona is also an otter. I already miss them so much that I feel like I've got a block in my chest thinking I won't see them in any more adventures.

As of rn I wouldn't say the ending is perfect but I'm happy enough with how this series ends
I'm not about to protest for additional endings though. The engine's already quite laggy and I would imagine making additional changes from this point onwards must be a nightmare
Hence I didn't say too much this time around whilst I would usually be a bit more nitpicky about some of the random details within the story, since I can't imagine how tough it would be to try to change the story now
But yeah, fingers crossed for anything to change though it's unlikely overall. Maybe I don't feel so inclined for a change because I'm not an otter
Definitely loved all the characters though.
