Not dead, but he's dragging out updates to farm his subscribers. It's going to be an "optimization" update, with few scenes. He said he was going to commission plugins from a Bakin developer. I don't see why the update is taking so long, more than 200 days... not to mention that he was asked a long time ago if the update would be ready by Christmas, and he said it wouldn't take that long... He also says he has to finish some scenes for this update, but instead of finishing them he prefers to upload random renders to his Twitter that nobody asked for.
