It was interesting playing first person 3D, in a 1 bit style. It worked surprisingly well. Needing the camera flash to see things, even some walls and larger furniture, added to the challenge. Sometimes I was a bit off exploring and area and missed a key item, such as the springs, and that could be frustrating to need to recheck, but overall it worked. The levels were pretty well laid out. The combat is an area that felt a bit off. It was hard to tell the range and targeting of my attacks. I wasn't sure when and where was best to attack, so just spammed left and right mouse buttons while facing the enemies as they approached until they went down. I think it comes down to the short pencil and the animation staying off to the right side, making it feel like I need to be offset to the side.

Overall the game played pretty well, though, I wasn't a fan of being the bad guy. It's listed as a hotel, but you break into the building, then break into someone's room and steal their stuff. As you leave they come back to see their room being robbed and you kill them for it...

Hey, thanks for the feedback :) I 100% agree with you. I think the combat is quite lacklustre and doesn't really make much sense. The 2nd to last level (the one with the springs) is also quite bad and isn't that intuitive (or in keeping with the idea of a hotel). In retrospect, removing the combat and just having this be a game about revealing things with the camera might've been a better option.

Once again thanks for playing :)
