Same happened to me too, tbh I much prefer the compressed before.

Make sure whenever you are using the mobile network, set the dns manually to Google or Free DNS. Many mobile services block access to unfamiliar networks. And if you're tethering to a wifi, u need to change your own dns to Google or Free DNS.
