Why not? There is an attack modifier, which means there’s something interesting going on. The music also gives a pleasant feeling, and there is definitely a theme — everything is great.

I had to cancel a lot of planned content like gamepad support, upgrade station minigames and bosses, and then I realized too late that a secret ending is missing code that would make it trigger. It's a playable game but it's a mess that I am not exactly proud of

That’s normal — I also always take on more work than I can realistically finish, but it forces me to make quick decisions, and in the end there is still a result. Finishing a project and making something is already a good step. Over time, you’ll learn to do it faster and better. Once you make a game, a lot of things will become automatic for you in future projects.
