Under 3 minutes is pretty quick, that's an impressive speedrun!
You're right, the ratio for upgrading more profit could probably use tweaking. At the moment it's set to 2x shapes = upgradeable, but that means you can just ignore triangles entirely (though I'm not sure that's the best strat to be honest)!
