Low key would be really funny if you delayed the next release an extra month just to mess with damalon.

Dude, what the hell is your problem?

First of all, I don't owe you an explanation, nor am I under any obligation to check this site for comments religiously. The fact that I did do so for the longest time was a choice on my behalf, because I think that's the correct way to do this.

If you'd stopped for a second and used your brain, you'd have maybe come to the conclusion that there might be a good reason why I've suddenly stopped, too. A reason that doesn't have to do with you, because, surprise, the world doesn't revolve around you.

You want to know why the latest content release is taking longer than usual? That's because the frickin' update is longer than usual. Something that I've communicated very clearly, multiple times, both on Patreon and on here. If you're incapable of reading, you may want to reconsider your choice of entertainment. Just saying.

The next update will come out when it's done. If you can't deal with that, feel free to fuck off.

The nerve of you, I swear. I've been nothing but consistent for YEARS at this point. Regular, high-quality updates; immediate bug-fixes if necessary; open communication. And THE SECOND I fail to keep that up (for personal reasons, because I've been sick for a while and had to take a few weeks off, which, surprise, happens at times, because I'm human, too) you go fucking mental, just because I don't reply to you? Because YOU refuse to use Patreon and Discord? The two platforms I've mentioned I use a lot more than itch.io?

You're ridiculous. People like you are the reason why so many developers burn out. The demands you're making are just ludicrous.

Seconded. Take all the time you need, big guy. Can't rush quality.

Thanks, mate. It'll be worth the wait, and it won't be much longer.

If it helps, I think the vast majority of people agree this guy is pathetic. The message he sent that really got me irked was when he put "least they could do".

As if producing free content, and not communicating, is somehow WORSE than having just never produced any content in the first place. (Not that this is even the case here, but that just makes their stance even more ridiculous)

If only we could all be paragons of virtue like this guy and spend our time trying to make the world a worse place by targeting those who actually produce something for others, and doing our damnedest to make them want to stop.

You keep being you and sharing content with the world! The rest of us appreciate it! And if you ever feel like slowing down or just stopping all together - you have already done more than most people will ever do and quitting wouldn't change that at all. Although it would be a real shame.

Thanks, mate, that means a lot.
Some people are just too stuck up their own asses to see what's happening around them, or that not everyone exists solely for their entertainment.

No worries, though - CH will be finished, no matter what. Unless I go tits up, of course, but I don't plan on doing that anytime soon. There may be phases where I need to slow down to recharge, because being creative on demand can be draining, but those should be far and few between - and honestly, they are necessary, so there's no way around them anyway. Just like everyone else's paid time off and sick leaves and whatnot.

Appreciate your comment. :)

At this point, I'm tempted to. May just send it out personally to anyone but him. But I guess he's tired of this shit anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter.
