I'm home (my Nth time rereading). I'm excited to read more of your updates! And I love the subtle characterization you've done for Mrs. Hudson. As much as she's a pushy, fussy, and nosy landlady, she's been with Sherlock surely far longer than any of the cast. It's not surprising to have her see Sherlock and Watson as a sort of family, one that brings her a little bit of joy in her golden age, people to dine with, and not feel so cut off from society.
