Glad you had fun! The current enemies are designed around being more aggro / powerful the first few turns, but if you can hold on you will beat them in the mid-late game - what in particular was the issue you took with the defensive playstyle?

Mostly that the only way I was dealing damage to the enemy ship was using ranged spells or abilities, rather then punching threw their defenses. If thats how it's intended and not a balancing issue then I'm all for it.
