Thanks for the feedback. We know it's an area where the game is lacking some feedback. We plan to continue working on it after the game jam!
Loop hero was indeed a source of inspiration. We know some areas are still lacking, especially this kind of "are you on the right track" feedback. We plan to continue working on the game after Game Off.
Awesome feedback, thanks! You are supposed to wind after filling the whole area. Maybe a breach was still expanding? Or a monster occupying a tile?
