Thank you so much for playing! When I set out to make this game, my goal was to make a short game that shared what my personal struggle was like. I wasn't sure if I could cover something so powerful & complicated in 15 minutes & have it make sense. In the end, I understood my game... but would anyone else? To hear that you understood & felt what I was trying to share means so much to me. Thank you so much for sharing. May you always find your way to the light.

Thank you so much for playing! It means so much that you enjoyed it.

Just found out about the bundle, would like to include my game https://8bitpxl.itch.io/the-silence

Thanks for the  compliment on the art!  For the games art, most of it is created in Photoshop using some amazing brushes that simulate oil paintings.  The games start screen is actually really painted pieces scanned and edited together.

In the game, the character is in an empty house.  As you explore the rooms, on the walls are images of their life's most significant memories.  These memories are from different ages in their life.  When you enter these rooms, the character will actually change to the age of the memory as they enter.  You witness the depression suffered during their life, and how they just couldn't escape from it.

Depression can be like sitting alone in a room, lost.  You have no idea how to leave.  No matter how hard you try, the depression just won’t let you leave that room.

My goal was to tell a short, sad story.  Depression has been something I have struggled with for years and is just as much a part of me as my bones are.  I am lost with it, but I have had it so long that I could possibly feel lost without it.  Hope you enjoy!

Had a blast playing this and kept getting sidetracked making an organized garden.  I failed at that part but did end up making some potions eventually.  Good job!
