Yes it was paint, I tried using free assets but couldn't do the math of slicing the spritesheets properly. 

The player taking no damage was not intentional but now that you mention it, it may actually be great to just focus on punching. Glad you had fun 😄

Hii, thanks a lot for playing the game :D That's correct, I couldn't implement a goal for this. Intention was to clear the goons and player will be rated after each wave based on the collateral they caused. For now just the civilians vanish when hit by goons, but Im planning to add the cars and buildings to get damaged too.

The game was not supposed to be endless. I couldn't place a 'You Won' or a 'Gameover' screen in time. Which is why the player too is kinda invincible. But guess that works out with the theme xP

That zoom out can be disorienting yes. It was meant to show how far you sent the enemy flying. But I guess having a separate camera for a flying enemy would work better.

The concept is very clever and elegant. I didnt know that trying to hit a simply aura farming enemy would be so satisfying :D I did try to dash away towards the graveyard but that crab followed me. Truly overpowered. Great Game! and lovely art.

The premise is very funny. Especially the hero with that stick xD so relatable. I couldnt get past the first level sadly. Would appreciate a Retry button. For now I reload my page to try again.

Although controls are for a mobile game, there is something fun about having to click movement or attack one at a time. The core of this game is learning enemy movement and timing your heart attacks (no-pun-intended) just right to kill them. I liked the concept. If only the player could move faster than the enemy it would make timing my attacks easier :) GG

Appreciate the effort for getting a web build \(^-^)/. Since the power boxes are important, maybe you could specialize their opening mechanics, like, a particular Orc has the key to one overpowered chest. Or one of the party members has to be standing on a particular tile for that chest to be opened. So players can prioritize their movement and attacks. Into the breach has tile mechanics, like, standing on a Forest Tile make your attacks more effective (since you're hidden). These were all I could think of...

The gameplay is so fun. I chuckled every time that nuclear beam fell from the sky. Choice of art and sound effects suit the overall theme! 

Maybe you could make discovering the enemies easier or add more of them per level. Also, how about when enemies see you, they try and go hide around one of the important buildings. Can lead to a fun chase and sometimes the player risking it all to kill the last remaining skeleton :)

Loved the art on this one! Its like playing with legos :D The gameplay reminds me of 'Into the Breach' tactics style. It is very strategic and kept me racing the enemy each turn. It felt a bit slow in the beginning, with each character taking 1-2 steps to reach the first box. But once a powerup was received, the change was clear. Maybe a player could get one more turn after reaching a box to instantly try out the new power received? After defeating few enemies the arena feels silent, if more of them can spawn mid battle, it may help keep the tension on.

I agree with both of your points. Due to the tight deadline, I couldn't spend much time with the map borders. That said, I really like your interpretation of the blue field as a sea rather than just an invisible wall. Would be fun to make the goons drown.

For the civilians, although you weren’t able to delete them directly, I hope you still had some fun making them panic when you hit them! There is a deletion mechanic where if you knock an enemy into a civilian, the civilian gets deleted, so you have to be careful about where you send enemies flying.

Something so satisfying about nuking the entire world and being silly about it. The expressions on them pixelated faces are hilarious!!

I was hooked! There was a Zen-y moment of coordination with my right hand spamming clicks, and left hand timing the WASD and I didnt even realise I was doing that. Good Game.

The success sound effect is going to stay in my head for a while now xD Love the idea! The puzzles are very smart. Would be great to see this developed further.
