Interesting!

I'm not sure how it happened myself. I don't want to accidentally spoil this for anyone else reading, in case it's supposed to be something from a later part of the game, but they were very strong, with like 450HP.

I had assumed it was part of the demo or maybe training wheels to get the player used to combat and they would leave the party shortly after, but that never happened

Needless to say it made combat very easy. I'm playing again and I have to consider every turn a lot more.

Really cool Demo! Incredible artwork and atmosphere. The stress both in battle and navigating the spaces really gives a wonderful positive tension to the experience.

A few questions:

-Does the demo effectively end after the Prophecy boss? I believe I've explored everything that's open in the demo, but wasn't sure if there was a trigger point for the end o the demo.

-After beating everything, I looked up some other clips and images of folks playing and realized...I had a fourth party member and I'm now unsure if that was an intended part of the demo? I restarted and played for a good while and couldn't seem to reproduce getting them into my party. Is this unintended?

Thanks again for such a cool game. Looking forward to the full release! (Even if it will be much harder than what I did!)

I love this idea! I might have to do a pokemon themed playthrough myself.

Thanks for asking, I was worried I left some clarity out in my haste! I had intended for all cards to be shuffled and hands re-dealt at the end of each turn, Including the cards left over in your hand. This does mean that you end up shuffling a lot, unfortunately.

If you are only playing with two players, It's probably fine to just use a discard pile for the previous hands and just re-deal from the remaining deck a few times before completely reshuffling as the potential to effect any outcomes by counting cards is pretty low. Whatever makes playing smoother for you!
