Hello, are you still open to collab? we recently made a little game (still working on it), and I'd like to chat with you about it! My discord username is *****

Thanks a lot for giving our game a try! Yeah, the camera was everyone's #1 complaint, I'll make sure to fix it in the post jam version :)

Thank you for the kind words! And yeah, the cover art doesn't really match the game. At first I thought about just slapping a screenshot and calling it a day, but I thought that would be lazy so I drew it instead, though I'm no artist :( I can definitely see the issue with the camera. I was planning to add gamepad controls, which is why I used the arrow keys, but I ran out of time to add either of those, there are a lot of gameplay elements that could've been better but I’ll try fixing the current flaws and improving it in the post jam version. Hope you'll try it again once I do, and thanks for playing!! :)

Really good game! I loved the gameplay and music (the music was reallyyy nice) The art is simple but good and fitting for this. I appreciate that getting hit only resets your position instead of making you start over, but having a way to lose (like getting hit a certain number of times) and restarting the boss fight would've been better in my opinion. As for the theme, I don't think it's the best representation of soccer. I mean, yeah I can see that you use balls, but they could be replaced with any projectile. It took me a while to beat the last boss but that's just me being bad lol. Overall, amazing game!! but it has room for improvement. Oh, and the illustrations are really good (the cover art and the in game ones)

This is the game I've spent the longest time with, its really fun, the art looks good, but i think it would've been better to add some sort of obstacle or something to slow down the player to make the gameplay a little more challenging. but its a really good game :)

This is the most polished game I played so far! and I think its my favorite too!

My eyes hurt

Not sure if it's just me, but whatever it is you're supposed to play with doesn't appear on screen, and there are resolution problems. Also the leaderboard system doesn't work :(

Simple yet fun, though there are some issues, sometimes the ball goes completely off screen and you can lose without noticing it and when it bounces it also goes off screen. You could've added a side walk animation for the player but overall, its a pretty nice game!

I didn't expect to have this much fun! The gameplay is really fun and balanced, being able to choose an ability every round is great., the art is really nice (though some color changes might've made it better). My only complaint is the UI but since its a jam game, its not that important. Overall, really cool game! :)

Haha, thanks for playing! All the 3D assets (models/ textures) were made by our team's 3D artist :)

Thanks a lot for taking the time to write this! I'll make sure to take all of this into consideration if I work on a post jam version of the game :) Oh, you lose by having the enemies collide with you when they attack.

GG, really liked the gameplay and how the difficulty slowly increases as you score, the graphics are nice too :)
(Id appreciate it if you tried out my game!)

Really simple and fun at the same time, the ball clips through some times for some reason but overall its a nice game, Id appreciate it if you gave my game a try :)

Glad you liked it!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks! your game was super fun too :)

For the composer it wont be much work, just 2 good tracks. As for the 3D artist, Im looking for someone who can make mid to low poly cartoony models (and the textures), Im using Godot Btw

If everything comes together we'd have a team of three :)

If its your first game jam i recommend working alone, you'd learn more than you would with a team IMO (in most cases the experienced ones handle almost everything which takes away from the trail and error experience), but its up to you. :)

Thanks a lot for taking the time to write this review! As you said, its a jam game and obviously not perfect, but theres a lot of room for improvements. Ill definitely make sure to fix the issues and maybe add some stuff once I find the time. Thanks again, Im glad you gave it a try! :)

Really good game!! Love it! The art is awesome, and the gameplay is so fun. The infinite level generation and mechanics are spot on (I did lose multiple times, but that's just me being bad lol) Overall, amazing game! :)

Oh, I did try doing that, it just clips through the blue one :/

GG! The idea is simple yet enjoyable. I did have some issues though, the performance isn't great in the browser, and I couldn’t get past level 4, not sure if I'm just bad at it or something, haha. There are a lot of things that could’ve been improved, but overall its a pretty nice game! :)

There are a lot of bugs, most of which are from the dashing mechanics, where the player can clip into walls and start flying randomly. I like the game idea overall its not bad, especially if this is your first game, but there's still a lot of room for improvements

Thanks to everyone who played my game! This is a big improvement since my last jam, and I'm calling it a win! I'll try to fix bugs and add more content in the next few days!

Honestly, I had a lot of puzzles in mind to add, but time wasn't really on my side. I might add more puzzles and content in the post jam version. Thanks a lot for playing!!

Glad you had a good time playing it! And yeah, you're not the only one who struggled with the cannon ball lol. Really appreciate the feedback and you checking out my game! (I love Adventure Time too) :)

Thanks for playing!!

Thanks a lot for the feedback!! Glad you liked it! I'll definitely work on improving the controls and adding proper controller support. Really appreciate you taking the time to play and share your thoughts! :)

Thank you for trying out my game!

Nice game! There are a few visual glitches, and I'm not sure if it's a bug or something, but there's no audio at all. It would also be better if you assigned an input for the dialogue instead of doing it automatically. But overall, it's a pretty good game!

Glad you liked it! I'll make sure to improve the controls and levels!

Yeah, Sasuchi pointed that out too, you'll just have to wait for the particle effect to disappear before pushing again. As for the movement, I guess I'll just fix it in the post jam version :) Thanks for playing!!

Happy you liked it! About the health bar, I was already using delta time, but the issue seemed to be using move_toward() instead of lerp() to smooth it out. Thanks for giving my game a go!

Glad you liked it! for the jittering, I think it might be caused by unstable fps. Thanks a lot for the feedback and for playing!

Super cool game! It reminded me of the GMTK Game Jam 2024 theme (this could've been a winner if you had made it for that jam lol) I really liked the art style. The spikes were a little too big, and having to redo the entire level after losing wasn't ideal, adding checkpoints would have really helped. But overall, it's a super clean and nice game!

Thanks a lot for playing! Sure, I'll give your game a go!

Yeah, the movement is slightly slippery and floaty lol, Thanks for trying out my game!!
