So I made prestige update and all my updates are gone. What should I got in exchange? Where's that prestige +1?

I refreshed and now I have version 0.51 but I've lost all my progress...

After few deaths I've managed to make a good and long raid with nice loot which gave me trip from sector 2 to 12 in one life. But now I'm constantly dying on the first or second step since there are to many enemies, and after death I've no equipment. Is there any way I can go back to previous sectors to lower the difficulty?
