Weird. Might be because I played on steam deck? Wonder what's up with that. I can try replicating it and sending a save file for comparison to make sure.

Played trough disaster awakening and before midnight, would like to report two small things. In before midnight hanyuu starts with the two healing moves but then also learns them by level up so you then have them twice in your skill list. And secondly after disaster awakening the game plays the credits no matter if there's still chapters left. Unless that is intended then nevermind.
have now beaten each chapter at least once. I haven't looked into all the extra stuff yet though. But I wanna say this was a very fun game. Took around 13 hours I wanna say to get this far. I will certainly recommend it should I ever get the chance, sadly my friends havent even read higurashi so I cant do that.
But yea I really liked this. Very well made game.
Finished daybreak part 1 and natsumi deceiving chapter. I might not be grinding enough to get good endings but I'll replay to get other endings later. So now only reality breaking and Daybreak part 2 are left. Hope I'll be able to get trough their difficulties lol.
I didn't mention it yet but I really like the unique skillsets each character gets. Makes it fun to figure out what's best for each encounter.
Played the cat killing chapter, poppy flower chapter and a good bit of tsumihorobishi-hen today. I very much enjoy the map designs. The overworld in tsumihorobishi is pretty awesome. I really like how one map uses a anime screenshot as background, feels like a pre rendered PS1 game like ff7. I really like how there was a choice on telling mion about Rina. Is the teppe boss in that route harder or did I just end up having bad luck? I decided against asking for Kasai after losing and the fight felt easier there.
Would you prefer if keep I post my thoughts as I play or give you a update when I'm done fully?
Hey im currently playing your game. While I haven't finished it yet I want to say it's very charming. It has a homebrew type of flavour I enjoy a lot, seeing the anime screenshots in combination with RPG maker engine cutscenes is pretty cute. The RPG combat itself also is surprisingly balanced so far, I didn't expect to see a optional boss either. So far my playtrough has been Rika and akasaka.
Something im curious about is is the dialogue taken 1:1 from the VN or Anime? I played the VN in Japanese so I'm not aware if that's the case, but in case it isn't the writing seems pretty solid and faithful regardless so far. If you were to ask for some honest criticism then I suppose that stuff can feel a bit rushed? But I understand there's not much appeal to run back the entire original story/not getting to the puzzles fast in a puzzle chapter. To which I gotta say though I really liked that aspect of rikas chapter. Makes me wanna replay rikas chapter to see if I can find kenta-kun!
I hope this feedback has some value despite me not having seen everything just yet.
