I am so glad you like it!!! Yes luck is absolutely the crux of this game... it's relatively easy to decide where to place the shapes, but the spawn point, the spawned shape, the spawn of power ups and spawn rate shapes, and which shape you get to throw is all up to randomness which leaves a bit to be desired! I'm thinking enemy powerups, power-up choices, and maybe some more intentional spawn patterns might make skill seem more significant.
wowowow!! Very original, impressive gameplay and level design. If I came up with an gameplay mechanic like this I wouldnt know where to begin designing the levels!!! hats off to you!!!
thanks a lot!! Yes it definitely relies heavily on luck. The best strategy is to focus on SR pieces that slow the spawn rate and to get as many power ups as you can, but if they don’t come or if the same tower gets a random spawn too many times it can be over really quick! My fastest run was 1:30 because I got so many power ups to spawn randomly
thanks!!! Yes I think I will add some more levels, some more game mechanics (like some difficulty scaling “bad” powerups) and introduce an infinite “arcade” mode
