So i've set up my PNGtuber with a BUNCH of parts that have mouse tracking, and figured out adding mouse tracking to the head and neck makes it possible to puppeteer around the pngtuber with the mouse, which is SUPER fun. The thing is, though, it would make for better puppeteering if there was an option to only track a specific axis for each part with mouse tracking, or track more or less amounts of each axis. What I'm aiming for is the ability to raise my pngtuber's eyebrows spontaneously by moving my mouse without making its eyes look up and its neck extend upwards, but still keep the ability to make the eyes look up and the neck extend upwards.
i figured out a way to do this! Just make a second eyelashes layer in your art program and merge it with the eye whites, then replace the eye whites with that, and make the eye whites layer blink while keeping the eyelashes on top of that and the irises, then clip the eyelashes to the eye whites. Your goal is an eyelash sandwich!
okay so!! How i pulled off eyes with moving irises is an eye whites layer that blinks, then a clipped layer for the irises with tracking in between, then the lineart for on top of the eyes. Problem though, when the eye whites blinks, the top lineart doesn't hide... help ;-; aaaaaaa
